Primary Art Week Exhibition

‘Colour in Our World’ shows a selection of work created during Oldham Primary Art Week 2011.

Oldham Primary Art Week involved over 500 children from many different primary schools across the Borough. Workshops took place at The Oldham Academy North, The Oldham College, Gallery Oldham, City Learning Centre and at the primary schools.

The children were encouraged to be artistic and inventive whilst creating something in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Colour in our World’.

Oldham Primary Art Week 2011 was sponsored by The Oldham Academy North which raises aspirations and expectations, motivating students to achieve the highest possible standards.

Colette Burgess, Principal commented, “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to sponsor Oldham Primary Week and to support the creativity and artistic talents of the children of Oldham. We look forward to sponsoring an equally successful event.
