Primary Pupils Produce Church Inspired Tiles

Year 5/6 pupils from St. Hilda’s & Holycross Primary attended decorative tile workshops during the spring term delivered by Mrs Cooke. The patterns applied to the tiles were inspired by architectural detail taken from Oldham Parish and St Stephens Church. Pupils developed their printing, painting and ICT skills during the project and the framed final pieces will go up on display at their schools during the Summer Term. Each pupil received a print out of their computer design and will also be awarded a Community Arts Certificate for their amazing work.
