BBC School News Report Media City

Students will be making the news again for real on 15 March 2012 as they take part in BBC News School Report. We aim to publish the news by 1600 GMT on the News Day.

Last Years News Report

Students from the academy took part in this year’s BBC School News Report Day. Students were among the first people ever to broadcast from the brand new, state-of-the-art facility at Salford Media City. They developed a wide range of new skills, from researching and interviewing to presenting and editing news bulletins. They even spotted a few famous faces from Hollyoaks!
