Tom Palmer's Classroom Football

Popular children’s author, Tom Palmer visited The Oldham Academy North in May. Tom is the author of two football fiction series for children, published by Puffin. His first novel “Foul Play “ was selected as one of 2008’s Booked Up titles and was short listed for the 2009 Blue Peter Book Award.

Tom delivered six workshops over two days to pupils from Richmond, Alexandra Park and The Oldham Academy North in the Academy Library. In addition, several lucky competition winners from the Academy won signed copies of Tom’s books and had their photograph taken with him.
